Crocheted Cactus Website Launch!
It's happening! I'm officially considering the Crocheted Cactus website "open" and "operational" (no quotes actually necessary on that last one - really, it's operating as expected)!
It's easy enough to always look for one more feature that needs to be added to the site or one more craft to complete before going public, but I didn't want to wait too long and let all my work so far stagnate. So damn the torpedoes, here we go!
My final act before making this site public to friends, family, and whoever else was to finish an actual crocheted cactus. Creating a physical crocheted cactus in service to the site was never in my plans, but thanks to a recent Marly Bird round-up email on ribbed patterns, Yarnspiration's Cactus Pillow pattern appeared as if by magic and gave me the heads-up that this would put a bow on v1.0 of the Crocheted Cactus website.
Did I need a tighter gauge? For sure. Do I still need to practice stuffing my crafts? Definitely. Am I still super happy with it? 100%.
